Peace be upon us and upon the righteous slaves of Allah. I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and His Messenger.

    التَّحِيّـاتُ للهِ وَالصَّلَـواتُ والطَّيِّـبات ، السَّلامُ عَلَيـكَ أَيُّهـا النَّبِـيُّ وَرَحْمَـةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكـاتُه ، السَّلامُ عَلَيْـنا وَعَلـى عِبـادِ كَ الصَّـالِحـين. أَشْـهَدُ أَنْ لا إِلـهَ إِلاّ الله ،

    وَأَشْـهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمّـداً عَبْـدُهُ وَرَسـولُه

    Attahiyyaatu lillaahi wassalawaatu, wattayyibaatu, assalaamu ‘alayka ‘ayyuhan-Nabiyyu wa rahmatullaahi wa barakaatuhu, assalaamu ‘alaynaa wa ‘alaa ‘ibaadillaahis-saaliheen. ‘Ash-hadu ‘an laa ‘ilaaha ‘illallaahu wa ‘ash-hadu ‘anna Muhammadan ‘abduhu wa Rasooluhu.

  • Dua after the final Tashahhud and before ending the prayer

    O Allah, I seek Your protection from miserliness, I seek Your protection from cowardice, and I seek Your protection from being returned to feeble old age.
    I seek Your protection from the trials of this world and from the torment of the grave.
    اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْبُخْلِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْجُبْنِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ أَنْ أُرَدَّ إِلَى أَرْذَلِ الْعُمُرِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ الدُّنْيَا وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ
    Allaahumma ‘innee ‘a’oothu bika minal-bukhli, wa ‘a’oothu bika minal-jubni, wa ‘a’oothu bika min ‘an ‘uradda ‘ilaa ‘arthalil-‘umuri, wa ‘a’oothu bika min fitnatid-dunyaa wa ‘athaabil-qabr

    Allaahumma اللَّهُمَّ O Allah,
    ‘innee ‘a’oothu إِنِّي أَعُوذُ I seek protection
    bika بِكَ in You
    minal-bukhli,مِنَ الْبُخْلِ، from miserliness,
    wa ‘a’oothu bika وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ
    		and I seek Your protection
    minal-jubniمِنَ الْجُبْنِ،from cowardice,
    wa ‘a’oothu bika وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ and I seek Your protection
    min ‘an ‘uraddaمِنْ أَنْ أُرَدَّ from being returned
    ‘ilaa ‘arthalilإِلَى أَرْذَلِ، to feeble old
    ‘umuri الْعُمُرِ age
    wa ‘a’oothu bika وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ I seek Your protection
    min مِنْ from
    fitnatiفِتْنَةِthe trials of
    ad-dunyaa الدُّنْيَا this world
