“O Allah, help me to remember You, to THANK You, and to perform Your worship in the best manner.”اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنَّي عَلَى ذِكْرِكَ، وَشُكْرِكَ، وَحُسْنِ عِبَادَتِكَ
Allaahumma a’innee alaa thikrika, wa shukrika, wahusni ‘ibaadatikTransliteration Arabic Translation Allaahumma اللَّهُمَّ O Allah a’innee أَعِنَّي help me alaa thikrika, عَلَى ذِكْرِكَ to remember You wa shukrika, وَشُكْرِكَ، to THANK You wahusni وَحُسْنِ in the best manner ‘ibaadatika عِبَادَتِكَ to perform Your worship Abu Dawud 2/86, An-Nasa’i 3/53. Transliteration Arabic Translation Allaahumma اللَّهُمَّ O Allah ‘innee ‘as’aluka إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ indeed, I ask You for Al-jannata الْجَنَّةَ PARADISE wa ‘a’oothu وَأَعُوذُ and seek protection bika بِكَ Your minan-naar مِنَ النَّارِ from the FIRE -

O Allah, I seek refuge with Your Pleasure from Your anger. I seek refuge in Your forgiveness from Your punishment. I seek refuge in You from You. I cannot count Your praises, You are as You have praised Yourself.
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِرِضَاكَ مِنْ سَخَطِكَ، وَبِمُعَافَاتِكَ مِنْ عُقُوبَتِكَ، وأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْكَ، لَا أُحْصِي ثَنَاءً عَلَيْكَ، أَنْتَ كَمَا أَثْنَيْتَ عَلَى نَفْسِكَAllaahumma ‘innee ‘a’oothu biridhaaka min sakhatika, wa bimu’aafaatika min ‘uqoobatika, wa ‘a’oothu bika minka, laa ‘uhsee thanaa’an ‘alayka, ‘Anta kamaa ‘athnayta ‘alaa nafsikTransliteration Arabic Translation Allaahumma اللَّهُمَّ O Allah ‘innee إِنِّي indeed ‘a’oothu أَعُوذُ I seek protection biridhaaka بِرِضَاكَ in Your pleasure min sakhatika مِنْ سَخَطِكَ from Your anger wa bimu’aafaatika وَبِمُعَافَاتِكَ and I seek protection in Your forgiveness min ‘uqoobatika مِنْ عُقُوبَتِكَ from Your punishment wa ‘a’oothu bika وَاَعُوذُ بِكَ and I seek protection in You minka مِنْكَ from You. laa ‘uhsee لَا أُحصِي I cannot count thanaa’an ‘alayka ثَنَاءً عَلَيْكَ Your praises ‘Anta kamaa أَنْتَ كَمَا You are as You

Glory is to You, O Allah, our Lord, and praise is Yours. O Allah, forgive me.
سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا وَبِحَمْدِكَ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِيSubhaanaka Allaahumma Rabbanaa wa bihamdika Allaahum-maghfir leeTransliteration Arabic Translation Subhaanaka سُبْحَانَكَ Glory is to You Allaahumma اللَّهُمَّ O Allah Rabbanaa رَبَّنَا our Lord wa bihamdika وَبِحَمْدِكَ and praise is Yours Allaahumma اللَّهُمَّ O Allah ighfir lee اغْفِرْ لِي forgive me Al-Bukhari and Muslim -
Dua for the beginning of the prayer
Glory is to You O Allah, and praise. Blessed is Your Name and Exalted is Your Majesty. There is none worthy of worship but You.
