  • The traveler’s dua at dawn

    The traveler’s invocation at dawn

Read this dua at dawn whenever you are traveling.

Transliteration :Sami’a saami’un bihamdillaahi wa husni balaa’ihi ‘alaynaa. Rabbanaa saahibnaa, wa ‘afdhil ‘alaynaa ‘aa’ithan billaahi minan-naar.

Translation :He Who listens has heard that we praise Allah for the good things He gives us. Our Lord, be with us and bestow Your favor upon us. I seek the protection of Allah from the Fire.

Muslim 4/2086, the meaning of sami’a saami’un (who listens has heard) is that ‘a witness has witnessed our praise of Allah due to His blessings and favor upon us.’ It could also be read samma’a saami’un, in which case it means ‘one who has heard this statement of mine will convey it to another and he will say it as well.’ This is due to the attention given to the Thikr (remembrance of Allah) and supplications made during the early morning hours. The meaning of his saying ‘Our Lord, be with us and bestow Your favor upon us’ is: ‘Our Lord, protect us and guard us. Bless us with Your numerous bounties, and avert from us every evil.’ See An-Nawawi, Sharh Sahih Muslim 17/39.

‘Amr b Sa’id b al-As reported: I was, with Uthman Radi Allahu anhu that he called for ablution water and said: I heard Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) say: When the time for a prescribed prayer comees, if any Muslim perform ablution well and offers his prayer) with humility and bowing, it will be an expiation for his past sins, so long as he has not committed a major sin; and this applies to for all times.

  • Dua to overcome your problems, enemies, debts, diseases

    Dua to overcome your problems,

    enemies,debts,diseases

Make this dua whenever you get overwhelmed by your problems and inshaALLAH, Allah Subhaanahu wata’ala will Give you success in all your affairs

“Indeed, I am overpowered, so help (me).”

    أَنِّى مَغْلُوبٌ فَانتَصِرْ

    Annee maghloobun fantasir

    Surah Al-Qamar, verse 10

    • Triumph and success
    • Victory over the disbelievers and the enemies
    • For your protection and safety
    • To seek Allah’s Help in all your matters

This is the supplication of Prophet Nuh Alaihissalaam.

After Nuh Alaihissalaam was rebuked, deterred, threatened and driven out by his people, he invoked his Lord (saying): “I have been overcome, so help (me)!”) meaning, `I am weak and cannot overcome or resist my people, so help Your religion!’

    Allah the Exalted said,

(So, We opened the gates of the heaven with water Munhamir), Torrential rain, the only water that fell from the sky before that day and ever since was from clouds. But the sky’s gates were opened on them that day, and therefore, the water that came down was not from clouds. So both the waters (of the earth and the heaven) met according to a matter ordained.”
