    “Whoever recites this one hundred times in the morning and in the evening will not be surpassed on the Day of Resurrection by anyone having done better than this except for someone who had recited it more. ”

    سُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ

  • Dua for Success and to overcome your Problems and Stress (Dua to stay protected from the evil of your nafs)


    65

    “O Ever Living One, O Eternal One, by Your mercy, I call on You to set right all my affairs.
    Do not place me in charge of my soul even for the blinking of an eye (i.e. a moment)”
    يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ بِرَحْمَتِكَ أَسْتَغِيثُ أَصْلِحْ لِي شَأْنِي كُلَّهُ وَلَا تَكِلْنِي إِلَى نَفْسِي طَرْفَةَ عَيْنٍ


    Yaa Hayyu yaa Qayyoomu birahmatika ‘astagheethu ‘aslih lee sha’nee kullahu wa laa takilnee ‘ilaa nafsee tarfata ‘aynin.

    Its chain of transmission is sound (Sahih), Al-Hakim 1/545, see Albani

    tarfataطَرْفَةَ even for the blinking

  • Dua for the difficult tasks

    Read this dua if you find something difficult and insha’Allah Allah will make your tasks easier for you.

    “O Allah, there is no ease other than what You make easy. If You please You ease sorrow.”

    للّهُـمَّ لا سَـهْلَ إِلاّ ما جَعَلـتَهُ سَهـلاً، وَأَنْتَ تَجْـعَلُ الْحَـزَنَ إِذا شِـئْتَ سَهـْلاً

    Allaahumma laa sahla ‘illaa maa ja’altahu sahlan wa ‘Anta taj’alul-hazna ‘ithaa shi’ta sahlan

    Ibn Hibban in his Sahih (no. 2427), and Ibn As- Sunni (no. 351). Al-Hafidh (Ibn Hajar) said that this Hadith is authentic. It was also declared authentic.

  • Dua before Sleeping

    “In Your Name, O Allah, I die and I live”

    بِاسْمِكَ اللَّهُمَّ أَمُوتُ وَأَحْيَا
     
    Bismika Allaahumma ‘amootu wa ‘ahyaa
    Here, dying and living are metaphors for sleep and wakefulness. This explains why the normal order of these words has been reversed in this Hadith. In other contexts the living is mentioned before dying.

    “O Allah FORGIVE me, have MERCY on me,GUIDE me, SUPPORT me, PROTECT me, PROVIDE for me
    and ELEVATE me”
    اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي، وَارْحَمْنِي، وَاهْدِنِي، وَاجْبُرْنِي، وَعَافِنِي، وَارْزُقْنِي، وَارْفَعْنِي

    Allaahum-maghfir lee, warhamnee, wahdinee, wajburnee, wa ‘aafinee, warzuqnee, warfa’nee
    TransliterationArabicTranslation
    Allaahum-maghfir lee, اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي، O Allah FORGIVE me,
    warhamnee,وَارْحَمْنِي، have MERCY on me,
    wahdinee,وَاهْدِنِي،GUIDE me,
    wajburnee, وَاجْبُرْنِي،SUPPORT me

    This dua can be recited between the two prostrations (sujood) in Salah.

     

  • Dua to control your ANGER

    ”I seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the outcast.”

    ‘A’oothu billaahi minash-Shaytaanir-rajeem.

    Abu Huraira [Radi Allahu anhu] reported Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: The strong-man is not one who wrestles well but the strong man is one who controls himself when he is angry.

    Narated By AbuDharr [Radi Allahu anhu] : The Apostle of Allah (Peace be upon him) said to us: When one of you becomes angry while standing, he should sit down. If the anger leaves him, well and good; otherwise he should lie down.

  • Dhikr for Morning and Evening

    “None has the right to be worshipped but Allah alone, Who has no partner. His is the dominion and His is the praise and He is Able to do all things”

    Recite ten times in Arabic or one time to ward off laziness

    لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

    Laa ‘ilaaha ‘illallaahu wahdahu laa shareeka lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu, wa Huwa ‘alaa kulli shay’in Qadeer

     

    Allah will write ten Hasanaat (rewards) for whoever recites this ten times in the morning, and forgive him ten misdeeds and give him the reward of freeing ten slaves and protect him from Satan.

    Whoever recites this ten times in the evening will get this same reward.

    An-Nasa’i, ‘Amalul-Yawm wal-Laylah (no. 24). Its chain of transmission is sound (Sahih). Albani 1/272.

    Abu Hurayrah narrated that the Prophet (Peace be upon him) said: “Allah will write one hundred Hasanat for whoever says There is no God but Allah alone, He has no partner. To Allah is possession of everything, and to Him all praise is. He is Capable of all things’ ten times in the morning, and forgive him one hundred misdeeds. He will have the reward of freeing a slave and will be protected from Satan throughout the day unto dusk. Whoever says it in the evening will have the same reward.”

    Ahmad 8/704, 16/293. Its chain of transmission is good (Hasan).

    Whoever recites this in the morning, will have the reward of freeing a slave from the Children of Isma’il. Ten Hasanaat (rewards) will be written for him, and he will be forgiven ten misdeeds, raised up ten degrees, and be protected from Satan until evening. Whoever says it in the evening will have the same reward until morning.

    “O Allah! Increase us [in Your Blessings and rewards] and do not decrease us, HONOUR us and do not humiliate us, give us [from Your Gifts] and do not deprive us, be in FAVOUR of us and not against us, and make us satisfied and be satisfied with us.”

    Allahumma zidna wa la tanqusna, wa akrimna wa la tuhinna, wa atina wa la tahrimna, wa athirna wa la tu’thir alayna, wa ardhina war-dha anna

    أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللهِ التَّامَّاتِ مِنْ غَضَبِهِ وَعِقَابِهِ، وَشَرِّ عِبَادِهِ، وَمِنْ هَمَزَاتِ الشَّيَاطِينِ وَأَنْ يَحْضُرُونِ
     
     ‘A’oothu bikalimaatil-laahit-taammaati min ghadhabihi wa ‘iqaabihi, wa sharri ‘ibaadihi, wa min hamazaatish-shayaateeni wa ‘an yahdhuroon.

    Allaahumma ‘innee ‘a’oothu bika minal-hammi walhazani, wal’ajzi walkasali, walbukhli waljubni, wa dhala’id-dayni wa ghalabatir-rijaal
