  • Dhikr to declare one’s faith

    Our Lord, indeed we have heard a caller calling to the faith, [saying], ‘Believe in your Lord,’ so we have believed.

    ุฑู‘ูŽุจู‘ูŽู†ูŽุง ุฅูู†ู‘ูŽู†ูŽุง ุณูŽู…ูุนู’ู†ูŽุง ู…ูู†ูŽุงุฏููŠู‹ุง ูŠูู†ูŽุงุฏููŠ ู„ูู„ู’ุฅููŠู…ูŽุงู†ู ุฃูŽู†ู’ ุขู…ูู†ููˆุง ุจูุฑูŽุจู‘ููƒูู…ู’ ููŽุขู…ูŽู†ู‘ูŽุง

    Rabbanaa innanaa sami’naa munaadiyan yunaadee lil’eemaani an aaminoo birabbikum fa’aamannaa

    Surah Al-Imran,verse 193

     

    (“Our Lord! Verily, we have heard the call of one calling to faith,”), a caller who calls to faith, referring to the Messenger of Allah ,

    (`Believe in your Lord,’ and we have believed), accepted his call and followed him.

    Dua for STRONGER Imaan [Faith], JANNAH and ALLAH’S BLESSINGS:

    ” O Allah, I ask You for the FAITH that does not falter and BLESSINGS that never end and I beseech You for the company of Prophet Mohammad [Peace be upon him] in the high ranks of Jannah , Garden of Eternity”

    Allaahumma innee as’aluka eemaanan laa yartad, wa na’eeman laa yanfad, wa murafaqata nabbiyyina Sallal laahoo alaihi wassallama fee aalaa darajaatil-jannati jannatil khuld.

    ”O Allah! I seek REFUGE in You from the INABILITY (to do good), INDOLENCE, COWARDICE, miserliness, DECREPITUDE and TORMENT of the GRAVE.
    O Allah! Grant me the sense of PIETY and PURIFY MY SOUL as You are the Best to purify it. You are its Guardian and its Protector.
    O Allah! I seek refuge in You from the KNOWLEDGE which is not beneficial, and from a HEART which does not fear (You), and from DESIRE which is not satisfied, and from PRAYER which is not answered”

    “Allahumma inni a’udhu bika minal-‘ajzi wal-kasali, wal-jubni, wal-bukhli wal-harami, wa ‘adhabil-qabr.
    Allahumma ati nafsi taqwaha, wa zakkiha Anta khairu man zakkaha, Anta waliyyuha wa maulaha.
    Allahumma inni a’udhu bika min ‘ilmin la yanfau’, wa min qalbin la yakhsha’u, wa min nafsin la tashba’u, wa min da’watin la yustajabu laha’

    Reference:[Muslim] Zaid bin Arqam (May Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (Sallal laahoo alaihi wassallam) made this supplication.

    Shahr bin Haushab reported:
    I asked Umm Salamah (May Allah be pleased with her), “O Mother of the Believers! Which supplication did the Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) make frequently when he was in your house?” She said: “He (Peace be upon him) supplicated frequently this dua.
