    O Allah! You alone do we worship and to You we pray and prostrate and to You we hasten to worship and to serve and we hope for Your MERCY and we fear Your punishment. Surely, Your punishment is going to overtake infidels.”

    Allaahummaa inna na’oothubika min jahdil-balaa, wa darkish-shaqaa, wa soo’il-qadha, wa shamatatil-‘adaa

    Abu Huraira (Radi Allahu anhu)reported that Allah’s Apostle (may peace be upon him) used to seek refuge (in Allah) from the evil of destiny and from falling into the hand of calamity and from the mockery of (triumphant) enemies and from the hardship of misery.
    Abu Sufyan reported: I am in doubt that I have made an addition of one word in this supplication. (Book #035, Hadith #6540)

  • The BEST Dua for FORGIVENESS

    Whoever recites this with conviction in the evening and dies during that night shall enter Paradise, and whoever recites it with conviction in the morning and dies during that day shall enter Paradise.

    Al-Bukhari 7/150. Other reports are in An-Nasa’i and At-Tirmidhi.

    O Allah, You are my Lord, there is none worthy of worship but You. You created me and I am your slave. I keep Your covenant, and my pledge to You so far as I am able. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I admit to Your blessings upon me, and I admit to my misdeeds. Forgive me, for there is none who may forgive sins but You.

    اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لّا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ، وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتَ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتَ، أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ، وَأَبُوءُ بِذَنْبِي فَاغْفِر لِي فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ

    Allaahumma ‘Anta Rabbee laa ‘ilaaha ‘illaa ‘Anta, khalaqtanee wa ‘anaa ‘abduka, wa ‘anaa ‘alaa ‘ahdika wa wa’dika mas-tata’tu, ‘a’oothu bika min sharri maa sana’tu, ‘aboo’u laka bini’matika ‘alayya, wa ‘aboo’u bithanbee faghfir lee fa’innahu laa yaghfiruth-thunooba ‘illaa ‘Anta.

    khalaqtanee خَلَقْتَنِي You created me
    wa ‘anaaوَأَنَا and I am
    ‘abdukعَبْدُكَ،your slave.
    wa ‘anaa وَأَنَا and I
    alaa ‘ahdikعَلَى عَهْدِكَ keep Your covenant
    wa wa’dikaوَوَعْدِكَ, and my pledge to You
    mas-tata’tu, مَا اسْتَطَعْتَ، so far as I am able.
    ‘a’oothu أَعُوذُ I seek refuge
    bika بِكَ in You
    min مِنْ from
    sharri شَرِّthe evil
    maa مَا of
    sana’tu, صَنَعْتَ،what I have done
    ‘aboo’u laka أَبُوءُ لَكَ I admit to
    bini’matikaبِنِعْمَتِكَ Your blessings

    bithanbee بِذَنْبِي my misdeeds.
    faghfir lee فَاغْفِر لِي Forgive me,
    fa’innahuفَإِنَّهُfor there is
    laa yaghfiru لَا يَغْفِرُ none who may forgive
    ath-thunooba الذُّنُوبَsins
    ‘illaa ‘Anta إِلَّا أَنْتَ but You

    ”O Allah! I ask You for Your Love and the love of those who love You, and deeds which will cause me to attain Your Love. O Allah! Make Your Love dearer to me than myself, my family and the cold water”

    ‏”‏اللهم إني أسألك حبك، وحب من يحبك، والعمل الذي يبلغني حبك، اللهم اجعل حبك أحب إلى من نفسي، وأهلي، ومن الماء البارد‏”‏‏.

    Abud-Darda’ (May Allah be pleased with him) reported that The Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) said, “One of Prophet Dawud’s supplications was:

    Allaahumma inni as’aluka hubbaka, wa hubba man yuhibbuka, wal-‘amalalladhi yuballighuni hubbaka. Allaahumm-aj’al hubbaka ahabba ilayya min nafsi, wa ahli, wa minal-maa’il-baarid

    [At- Tirmidhi].

    اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِرِضَاكَ مِنْ سَخَطِكَ، وَبِمُعَافَاتِكَ مِنْ عُقُوبَتِكَ، وأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْكَ، لَا أُحْصِي ثَنَاءً عَلَيْكَ، أَنْتَ كَمَا أَثْنَيْتَ عَلَى نَفْسِكَ
     
    Allaahumma ‘innee ‘a’oothu biridhaaka min sakhatika, wa bimu’aafaatika min ‘uqoobatika, wa ‘a’oothu bika minka, laa ‘uhsee thanaa’an ‘alayka, ‘Anta kamaa ‘athnayta ‘alaa nafsik

  • The pilgrim’s announcement of his arrival for Hajj or ‘Umrah

    I am here at Your service, O Allah, I am here at Your service. I am here at Your service, You have no partner, I am here at Your service. Surely the praise, and blessings are Yours, and the dominion. You have no partner.

  • Dua for the dead in the Funeral prayer

    O Allah, Your male slave and the child of Your female slave is in need of Your mercy, and You are not in need of his torment. If he was pious then increase his rewards and if he was a transgressor then pardon him.

     
    اللهُـمِّ عَبْـدُكَ وَابْنُ أَمَـتِك، احْتـاجَ إِلى رَحْمَـتِك، وَأَنْتَ غَنِـيٌّ عَنْ عَذابِـه، إِنْ كانَ مُحْـسِناً فَزِدْ في حَسَـناتِه، وَإِنْ كانَ مُسـيئاً فَتَـجاوَزْ عَنْـه
     
    Allaahumma ‘abduka wabnu ‘amatika ihtaaja ‘ilaa rahmatika, wa ‘Anta ghaniyyun ‘an ‘athaabihi, ‘in kaana muhsinan fazid fee hasanaatihi, wa ‘in kaana musee’an fatajaawaz ‘anhu
