    .قَدَّرَ اللهُ وَما شـاءَ فَعَـل

    May Allah save us from the whispers of shaitan when we face an apparent loss.

    “The strong believer is better and more dear to Allah than the weak believer, and in each of them there is good. Be vigilant for what is to your benefit and seek the help of Allah and do not falter. But when you are striken by some setback, do not say: ‘If only I had done such and such,’ rather say: ‘It is the Decree of Allah and He does whatever He wills.’ For verily the saying ‘if (i.e. if only I had) begins the work of the Devil.”

    “O Allah, to You I bow (in prayer) and in You I believe and to You I have submitted. Before You my hearing is humbled, as is my sight, my mind, my bones, my nerves and what my feet have mounted upon (for travel)”


    اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ رَكَعْتُ، وَبِكَ آمَنْتُ، وَلَكَ أَسْلَمْتُ خَشَعَ لَكَ سَمْعِي، وَبَصَرِي وَمُخِّي، وَعَظْمِي، وَعَصَبِي، وَمَا اسْتَقَلَّ بِهِ قَدَمِي

    Allaahumma laka raka’tu, wa bika ‘aamantu, wa laka ‘aslamtu khasha’a laka sam’ee, wa basaree, wa mukhkhee, wa ‘adhmee, wa ‘asabee, wa mastaqalla bihi qadamee.

  • Dua against the oppression of your enemies




    Read this dua to stay protected from your enemies, haters and evil people and to seek Allah’s protection from their evil plots.

    O Allah, Lord of the seven heavens, Lord of the Magnificent Throne, be for me a support against [such and such a person] and his helpers from among your creatures, lest any of them abuse me or do me wrong. Mighty is Your patronage and glorious are Your praises. There is none worthy of worship but You.

    أللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ السَّمواتِ السَّبْعِ وَرَبَّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيْمِ, كُنْ لِي جاَراً مِنْ (فُلانِ بْنِ فُلاَنٍ),وَأَحْزَابِهِ مِنْ خَلاَئِقِكَ أَنْ يَفْرُطَ عَلَيَّ أحَدٌ مِنْهُمْ أَوْ يَطْغَى, عَزَّ جاَرُكَ وَجَلَّ ثَناَؤُكَ, وَ لاَ إِلَهَ إلاَّ أَنْتَ

    wa ‘ahzaabihi وَأَحْزَابِهِ and his helpers
    min khalaa’iqika, مِنْ خَلاَئِقِكَ from among your creatures,
    ‘an أَنْ lest
    yafruta يَفْرُطَ abuse me
    ‘alayya ‘ahadun minhum عَلَيَّ أحَدٌ مِنْهُمْany one of them
    ‘aw yatghaa, أَوْ يَطْغَىor do me wrong.
    ‘azzaعَزَّ Mighty
    jaaruka,جاَرُكَ is Your patronage
    wajalla وَجَلَّ and glorious
    thanaa’uka, ثَناَؤُكَ,are Your praises.
    wa laa ‘ilaaha وَ لاَ إِلَهَ and there is none (worthy of worship)
    ‘illaa ‘Antaإلاَّ أَنْتَbut You.

  • Dua for the Protection of your children

    The Prophet (peace be upon him) used to seek Allah’s protection for Al-Hasan and Al-Husain (Radi Allahu anhu) by saying
    أُعيـذُكُمـا بِكَلِـماتِ اللهِ التّـامَّة، مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْـطانٍ وَهـامَّة، وَمِنْ كُـلِّ عَـيْنٍ لامَّـة

    I seek protection for you in the Perfect Words of Allah from every devil and every beast, and from every envious blameworthy eye.

     
    U’eethukumaa bikalimaatil-laahit-taammati min kulli shaytaanin wa haammatin, wa min kulli ‘aynin laammatin.

  • Dua for Grief, stress, depression & anxiety

    There is none worthy of worship but Allah the Mighty, the Forbearing. There is none worthy of worship but Allah, Lord of the Magnificent Throne. There is none worthy of worship but Allah, Lord of the heavens and Lord of the earth, and Lord of the Noble Throne.

    لا إلَهَ إلاَّ اللَّهُ الْعَظـيمُ الْحَلِـيمْ، لا إلَهَ إلاَّ اللَّهُ رَبُّ العَـرْشِ العَظِيـمِ، لا إلَهَ إلاَّ اللَّهُ رَبُّ السَّمَـوّاتِ ورّبُّ الأَرْضِ ورَبُّ العَرْشِ الكَـريم

    Laa ‘ilaaha ‘illallaahul-‘Adheemul-Haleem, laa ‘ilaaha ‘illallaahu Rabbul-‘Arshil-‘Adheem, laa ‘ilaaha ‘illallaahu Rabbus-samaawaati wa Rabbul-‘ardhi wa Rabbul-‘Arshil-Kareem

  • The Expiation of Assembly – Kaffaratul-Majlis

    Aishah (Radi Allahu anha) said: “Allah’s Messenger (Sallal laahoo alaihi wassallam) did not sit in a gathering, and did not recite the Qur’an, and did not perform any prayer without concluding by saying…
    (then she quoted the dua given below).”
    “Glory is to You, O Allah, and praise is to You. I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but You. I seek Your forgiveness and repent to You.”

     
    سُبْحـانَكَ اللّهُـمَّ وَبِحَمدِك، أَشْهَـدُ أَنْ لا إِلهَ إِلاّ أَنْتَ أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَأَتوبُ إِلَـيْك
     
    Subhaanaka Allaahumma wa bihamdika, ‘ash-hadu ‘an laa ‘ilaaha ‘illaa ‘Anta, ‘astaghfiruka wa ‘atoobu ‘ilayk

    (Before entering) ”[In the Name of Allah]. (Then) O Allah, I seek protection in You from the male and female unclean spirits.”
    (بِسْمِ الله) اللّهُـمَّ إِنِّـي أَعـوذُ بِـكَ مِـنَ الْخُـبْثِ وَالْخَبائِث

    [Bismillaahi] Allaahumma ‘innee ‘a’oothu bika minal-khubthi walkhabaa’ith.
