“Praise be to Allah, Who has favoured us over many of His believing servants.”
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي فَضَّلَنَا عَلَىٰ كَثِيرٍ مِّنْ عِبَادِهِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
Alhamdu lillaahil-lathee faddalanaa ‘alaa katheerin min ‘ibaadihil-mumineen
Surah An-Naml ,verse 15
This is the prayer of Prophet Dawud Alaihissalaam and Prophet Sulayman Alaihissalaam.
Here Allah tells us about the great blessings and favors which He bestowed upon two of His servants and Prophets, Dawud (David) and his son Sulayman (Solomon), peace be upon them both, and how they enjoyed happiness in this world and the Hereafter, power and authority in this world, and the position of being Prophets and Messengers.
Allah says in the Holy Quran:-
(And indeed We gave knowledge to Dawud and Sulayman, and they both said: “All the praises and thanks be to Allah, Who has preferred us above many of His believing servants!”)
The one who is most deserving of thanks and praise from people is Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, because of the great favours and blessings that He has bestowed upon His slaves in both spiritual and worldly terms.
I thank Allah for all his blessing for me and my family. during years of my life I have asked all for few things but still don’t have them, please don’t tell me it is not good for you (i.e. education). no matter how hard I try but cant get it. now everyone in the world advise their kids and family and friend “get education” . this sounds to me very ODD that ALLAH blocks your education. there is nothing wrong with my PRAY, QURAN SALAT, FASTING AND GIVING.
